5RAINBOW PRODUCTIONS
The core team of 5Rainbow Productions comprises, fittingly, of five people: 45-year industry veteran Taunya Gren who's been in the entertainment industry nearly all of her life in one capacity or another; Seanna Ladd, a lifelong actress, producer and writer; Mike Robinson, award-winning novelist and screenwriter, and Sheri Norris and Scott New, a producer and director, respectively, and a dynamic duo in screenwriting.
Our film and TV projects fall exclusively under the label of "speculative entertainment," an umbrella term for all things science fiction, fantasy, horror and all their subgenres and various hybrids. One of our primary goals, however, is to not only further open these genres to more thought-provoking, intelligent, aesthetic, and diverse content, but also, to use our talents and experiences to embody the kind of change we wish to see in entertainment as well as social and cultural spheres.
As a female-led operation, we're sensitive to the challenges posed by "business as usual," and so strive to represent, in whatever capacity we can, the coming of new ideas and new opportunities. In short, we are an idea-driven, socially conscious company whose intent is, first, to entertain, and, secondarily, to help engender change in our industry and in the world.
